Prices for shows in other venues, e.g. Roter Salon (regular events such as “Lesen” “Reden” or Palais im Roten Salon), on 3rd Floor/P14 and Probebühne/Rehearsal Stage, and for special events in the main auditorium/ Großes Haus (as part of our series of events like “Sehen”, “Hören”, “Lesen”, and others) are specified in playbills and programme announcements.
Grüner Salon: Unless otherwise stated, tickets for shows and events in Grüner Salon are available at the advance booking office and box office on the night of the performance.
The prices apply for advance bookings and box office sales on the night of the performance, if tickets are purchased at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Customers using external reservation agents to obtain tickets may be charged additional transaction fees.
Due to the building’s physical layout, wheelchair access and spaces are restricted to the main hall/ Großes Haus. Tickets for wheelchair users must be pre-booked at the box office of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz no later than one day before the performance. Companions of disabled customers holding an official disabled person’s pass with a „B“ licence are admitted free of charge.
Customers who are claiming job seekers allowance and students can book concessionary tickets. Recipients of unemployment benefits of the category ALG 2 and berlinpass holders can buy tickets for 3.- € at the box office on the night of the performance (subject to availability, only repertory performances; no discounts for premieres and opening performances).
Please note: Proof of eligibility is required and must be presented at the box office when booking and collecting the tickets in person. There will be random checks at the doors on admission.
Volksbuehne-CARD (VB-Card)
Get the VB-Card for 25 € and book up to 10 tickets at a 25% reduction for all the repertoire showings (not applicable for special performances and shows). The VB-Card includes an option to buy tickets two days ahead of the regular advance booking date.
Group reductions
A purchase of at least 10 advance booking tickets for any performance (except premieres, the Music Stage "Hören" and special events) qualifies for a 25% reduction in the categories A to D.
